Resilience
In today’s hectic, everchanging and volatile work environments, when and where do you find the time to rest and digest? When do you listen to yourself and your needs? How do you master the uncertaincy, complexity and stress or your work?
We get it, we’ve been there and it’s though… with challenging deadlines, constant interruptions and changes and the increasing speed of decision making and uncertainties.
Learning to thrive in hectic environments involves slowing down and nature is a great facilitator for that. Some science actually suggests that the minute we step into natural environments, we go from auto pilot to manual. Our bodies and (racing) mind start to feel relaxed, our heart rate drops and our breathing becomes slower and deeper. How often do you feel that in a office setting?
Creativity
Did you know that natural environments can improve creative thinking by 20%?
Creativity is another key to your happiness and wellbeing at work. It’s about finding new solutions to problems, that’s causing you to feel overloaded, frustrated and stressed out.
And it’s about growing an open mind, that’s curious about news ways to improve your happiness and wellbeing.
Nature is a great companion for fostering an open and creative mind - let’s us show you how!
Connection
Ever felt stuck and alone with your problems and affraid of sharing how you genuinely feel and what your needs are?
Being outside can actually make us connect more with other people and help us ask for help and guidance.
Because the natural world is inherently and deeply dependent upon connection and collaboration with fellow and other species like sharing resources and proctecting one another - we can to as humans.
For many a happy and thriving worklife rely on the exact same ability to connect and collaborate with other humans. After all we are social animals.
However when you feel stressed and overloaded it can be difficult to connect and collaborate.
MEET LAURI POLDRE - ONE OF YOUR RESILIENT ROOTS RETREAT TRAINERS
A former Tech executive who’s experienced burnout and depression first hand. Now an internationally recognized nature-based meditation teacher and sound healer.
For 15 years, Lauri worked with leaders like NASA, Virgin Galactic, Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, Autodesk, Siemens and General Electric, to name a few.
But something didn’t feel right. Lauri had more than anyone could ask for - financial freedom, a solid job, a loving girlfriend… Yet he struggled with intense waves of anxiety, depression, and overwhelm. He felt lost. By the end of 2014, Lauri couldn’t avoid it any longer - his body was physically rejecting how he was living.
Lauri went on a long-overdue break which changed the direction of his life. His depression dissolved and the feelings of effortless creation and freedom replaced the stress, fear and depression. He left his job in tech, seeking out world-renowned mentors to teach him the secrets of nature-based meditation, mindfulness and sound healing.
He infused teachings on nonduality and meditation from mentors like Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, Adyashanti, Jack Kornfield and others into his sessions to enhance self-awareness and understanding for listeners on their personal journeys.
After years of studying, traveling, and performing for tens of thousands of people around the world, Lauir’s greatest joy lies in showing people that an enhanced state of being can be instantly accessible to them, and can be evoked effortlessly.
Lauri’s hope is that his gentle, flowing and subtle style sound healing can help you on your journey towards inner peace, fullness of heart, and clarity of spirit.
